Obama seems oblivious to the shambles about him

"I've restored America's standing in the world," he told CNN Wednesday. He may be the only person on the planet who thinks so." ~Jack Kelly, Jewish World Review

The Evil Empire

"Obama inherited an excellent opportunity to bring US soldiers home from the Bush regime’s illegal wars of aggression.  In its final days, the Bush regime realized that it could "win" in Iraq by putting the Sunni insurgents on the US military payroll.  Once Bush had 80,000 insurgents collecting US military pay, violence, although still high, dropped in half.  All Obama had to do was to declare victory and bring our boys home, thanking Bush for winning the war.  It would have shut up the Republicans." ~AntiWar.com
The other war we're fighting is similar. Afghanistan is turning out just like Viet Nam. The politicians are dithering, while soldiers are dying. The Soviets were in Afghanistan for years. They couldn't control the country, and they didn't have any PC rules to follow. What makes us think we can make things better? United States arrogance is staggering.

Compare and Contrast

Let's rewind to May 31, 2009. Scott Roeder shoots and kills abortion Dr. George "The Killer" Tiller, while Tiller was serving as an usher at the Lutheran church in Wichita that he regularly attended. Days later, Roeder said more violence against abortion providers was possible. Reaction from the pro-choice crowd was swift, they immediately jumped to conclusions and called Roeder a "domestic terrorist." They have urged the Obama administration to prosecute Roeder under anti-terrorism laws.

NOW is calling on the Obama Administration and the Justice Department to treat this as domestic terrorism, and use every aspect of anti-terrorism laws to prosecute Roeder and to find and stop his funders. We urge the administration to freeze the assets of people or organizations, domestic and international, who helped fund and supported Roeder's anti-choice activities.

The NAGS jumped to the conclusion, with both feet I might add, that Roeder is involved with "organizations, demostic and international."

Fast forward to November 5, 2009. Maj. Malik Nidal Hasan opens fire on American solders at Ft. Hood Army base in Killeen, Texas. Before shooting he yelled, "Allah akbar," an Arabic phrase usually translated as "God is great." Hasan has demonstratable ties to Muslim extremists and his contacts were being watched by the FBI.

In his remarks at the Ft. Hood memorial service, Obama refused to refer to Hasan as a terrorist. In fact, Barack Hussein Obama went out of his way to tell everybody the Ft. Hood attacks were not motivated by Hasan's religious beliefs.
It may be hard to comprehend the twisted logic that led to this tragedy. But this much we do know - no faith justifies these murderous and craven acts; no just and loving God looks upon them with favor. And for what he has done, we know that the killer will be met with justice - in this world, and the next.
So what's the conclusion to be drawn here? If a guy says he's a "Christian" doing God's work, immediately condemn him as a domestic terrorist. If a guy yells "Allah akbar" and has ties to Muslim extremists, we must bend over backwards to avoid calling him a terrorist. That's just the way things are in politically correct Obamaland.

Let's call it what it is

Why is the media so reluctant to call the shootings at Ft. Hood a terrorist act? Are they afraid organizations like CAIR who will get upset if they do? CAIR has already made a statement condemning the act.
"We reiterate the American Muslim community's condemnation of this cowardly attack. ... No political or religious ideology could ever justify or excuse such wanton and indiscriminate violence." -- CAIR Press Release
Most of the so-called reporters in the drive-by media don't know how to define terrorism. Take a look at this definition of terrorism and then tell me whether or not you think Nidal Malik Hasan is a terrorist.
The calculated use of unlawful violence or threat of unlawful violence to inculcate fear; intended to coerce or to intimidate governments or societies in the pursuit of goals that are generally political, religious, or ideological.
What Hasan did was unlawful, he incited fear. What he did intimated all the residents of Killeen, Texas. We do not yet know his motives, but based on his website postings -- calling suicide bombers heroes -- we can infer his goals. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it's likely a duck.

This is the first terrorist act committed on U.S. soil since the man-child, Barack Obama, became President. What he does now, will be a true test of whether or not he is prepared to answer that 3:00 AM phone call when there is a bigger attack.

exciting. Now, if you don't know what the Dow is, that is a list of

Today, doctor recommended TJ get flu vaccination. Auburn politely declined, I'm so proud of her.

According to this article, the government and vaccine makers are immune from lawsuits over flu vaccines.
In 1976, a massive swine flu vaccination campaign took place. Only 1 person died from the swine flu, the vaccine killed 25. Hundreds more were crippled. The government was sued for a total of $1.3 billion dollars. Now the vaccine makers and federal officials have been made immune from lawsuits. So if the vaccine has detrimental effects on you or your children, you won't be paid a single cent.
The swine flu vaccine hasn't been thoroughly tested. I'm not going to allow my children to be used as guinea pigs.
